Starry Night Reception

Songs will fill the air and art will fill the walls as the Del Mar Art Center Gallery celebrates its annual Starry Night Reception and fundraiser Sunday December 12th. The festivities will include raffle tickets for various artwork donated by various member artists and new this year is a silent auction that includes such items as A night at L’Auberge Resort, Del Mar, Handcrafted jewelry, a “Petrait” by artist Mark Sherman a Chiropractic Exam by Dr. Jacqueline Whalin or bid on dinner for 2 at Avenue 5 in San Diego. A special appearance by the Unitarian Universalist Singers will fill the air with song as patrons enjoy refreshments. Donations are used to fund free lectures and the Art Center’s annual Young Students Art Exhibit, held each year in February to showcase local school children’s artwork. Winston School was this year’s exhibitors and had some fantastic artwork and sculptures on exhibit. So mark your calendars for Sunday Dec 12th, from 4pm to 6pm. The Del Mar Art Center is located street level at the Del Mar Plaza next to Banana Republic.
